| Sue: Dear God, I am trying to meditate so that I can connect with you, God. I am having a hard time connecting with you. I try to meditate and still my mind, but I only get monkey mind. I know John is able to still his mind and go deep and has been able to feel God’s love. I think there is something wrong with me. I’ve tried all the different ways that teachers have taught me, but they don’t work. What I find that works for me is to write to you. I ask you a question and I feel your presence and I write your words of wisdom. My question for you God is “Am I doing it right?” I feel I am so different from everyone else. Am I being in resistance when I can’t still my mind? GOD: DEAR SUE, THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO CONNECT WITH GOD, YOU ARE EACH DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER. I KNOW YOU ARE JUDGING YOURSELF BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT, THE SHOULD’S. I SAY, DO WHATEVER FEELS RIGHT TO YOU IN THE MOMENT. SOME DAYS YOU MAY WANT TO SIT AND BE STILL, OTHER DAYS YOU JUST WANT TO WRITE TO ME, AND SOMETIMES YOU CAN JUST GO FOR A WALK AND TALK TO GOD. YOU HAVE BEEN SO CONDITIONED AND PROGRAMMED TO BEHAVE IN CERTAIN WAYS, BELIEVE IN CERTAIN THINGS, AND MOST OF THAT CONDITIONING AND PROGRAMMING IS ALL LIES. YES, IT CAN BE VERY CONFUSING. WHO DO YOU BELIEVE? WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? CAN YOU EVEN BELIEVE IN YOURSELF? SUE, THE ONLY THING YOU CAN BELIEVE IN IS GOD. Sue: Yes, but sometimes it’s even hard to believe in you. I’ve decided that I want to turn my life over to you. That’s something I haven’t been taught and I don’t know how? How do I? I’ve always been in control of my life. You want me to surrender and let go, but that’s the unknown and it is scary. GOD: YES, THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT FROM YOU, TO SURRENDER. Sue: How God? How can I trust you will be there for me? How can I have faith before I have evidence that everything will be okay? How do I know? GOD: YOU DON’T KNOW, THAT’S PART OF SURRENDERING. IF YOU’RE ALWAYS HAVING TO HOLD ON TO WHAT YOU KNOW, HOW WILL YOU EVER KNOW WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO YOU? WHEN YOU CAN’T LET GO, HOW WILL YOU EVER RECEIVE THE TREASURE THAT IS WAITING FOR YOU? YOU WON’T. AND NOW THAT YOU HAVE BEEN AWAKENED TO THE TRUTH, HOW CAN YOU GO BACK AND LIVE THE LIES OF YOUR PAST. YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO SURRENDER, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR PEACE, LOVE, JOY, HEALTH AND HAPPINESS IN YOUR LIFE. IT’S ALL ABOUT CHOICES. YOU GET TO CHOOSE. THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG, JUST LIKE CONNECTING TO GOD. EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS WITHIN YOU. NOW IS THE TIME TO LET GO OF RELYING ON OTHERS TO GIVE YOU THE ANSWERS. IT’S TIME TO GO INSIDE, BE STILL AND LISTEN TO YOUR OWN GUIDANCE, AND IN REALITY, WHEN YOU GO INSIDE YOUR HEART, YOU ARE CONNECTING WITH ME. IS IT HARD TO GO INSIDE YOUR HEART FOR ANSWERS? IF NO, THEN YOU HAVE ALREADY SURRENDERED TO GOD. IF YES, YOU NEED TO DO INNER WORK TO FIND OUT WHY? HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB. FINDING OR CONNECTING WITH GOD IS AN INSIDE JOB. AND SO IS SURRENDERING TO GOD AN INSIDE JOB. REMEMBER YOU ARE HERE TO FIND YOUR WAY BACK TO GOD. EARTH IS A SCHOOL AND YOU ARE HERE TO LEARN LESSONS. IT’S PART OF YOUR JOURNEY. EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN UNIQUE JOURNEY THAT IS PERFECT FOR THEM, NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE. LIVING YOUR LIFE FOR OTHERS IS A LIE. THIS LIFE YOU ARE LIVING IS BETWEEN YOU AND GOD AND HOW YOU CHOOSE TO EXPERIENCE IT, IS YOUR CHOICE. KNOW THAT I, GOD, DO LOVE YOU. YOU ARE SO LOVED. Sue: Thank you god. I love you too.  |
