Ask, Believe and Receive is the secret to life!
This important spiritual principle has been known for thousands of years and is the foundation of how and why BIBO Breathwork works.
For those who love the Bible, it was described beautifully by Jesus to his disciples in the book of Mark, Chapter 11, Verse 24: “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.”
Jesus said it very directly when healing a young boy in Mark, Chapter 9, Verse 23: “All things are possible to him who believes.” And regarding what is possible for God to do, in Matthew, Chapter 19, Verse 26, Jesus said “…with God all things are possible.”
For those who are familiar with the movie and book called “The Secret”, this spiritual principle was talked about in great detail. Ask, Believe and Receive is the foundational principle that “The Secret” is based on.
For those who are familiar with Florence Scovel Shinn and her book “The Game Of Life”, this is the spiritual principle that her teachings are based on, as well. In fact, all great teachers of manifesting have this principle as the foundation of their teachings. The reason for this is simple. In a nutshell…”this is how it works.”
By that I mean that on this planet, in this 3rd dimensional experience, this is what the rule is. To put it in plain English: “You can have whatever you want, if you believe that by merely asking God (The Divine) for it, it is already granted to you and is on the way to you. You just need to have unwavering faith and act as though you already have received it, with absolutely zero doubt, as you wait for it to show up in your life.”
This principle has been used successfully for manifesting material things for centuries. It has also been used for achieving good health and miraculous physical healing. We are now integrating this proven spiritual principle into our BIBO Breathwork healing modality.
In our BIBO Breathwork, we ASK God (The Divine) to take away our negative emotions, beliefs and any other negativity that we want to be free of. We ASK that what is taken away from us (by exercising our free will choice to let it go) be transmuted into love, by God (The Divine), so that it cannot ever return to us.
After asking God (The Divine) for help, we now move into the most difficult part of the process. We now must BELIEVE, with zero doubt that God (The Divine) has heard our request and granted it. Even if the healing is not readily apparent or obvious we must BELIEVE with absolute certainty and confidence that our healing has been granted.
The last step is to RECEIVE the healing that has been granted to us. This is closely connected to the believing step in that we must show unwavering faith that we are healed. This means acting as if the healing has already been received even if it is not yet apparent or obvious to us. This is where we must let go of the belief that “seeing is believing” and change that to “believing is seeing.”
These last 2 steps are where most people have challenges. Fear and doubt have been so programmed into our psyche that it is not always easy to have faith and trust. We are quite often our own worst enemy when it comes to the believing and receiving steps.
I have personally found it helpful to practice the ask, believe, receive process in manifesting small material things first, in order to get familiar with the process and to build confidence. I have done this successfully many times and have gained confidence in the process.
I have also used it to heal physical injuries and both Sue and I have been quite successful in using the ask, believe, receive process in BIBO Breathwork in healing ourselves, as demonstrated in our series of online forgiveness classes that we offer.
An interesting twist, that God has shared with us, is that not only is ask, believe, receive the foundational principle of BIBO Breathwork, but BIBO Breathwork can be used to clear the blocks, resistances and limiting beliefs that interfere with the process of asking, believing and receiving. How cool is that?
How this works is basically very simple. You identify what is blocking you from having success in asking, believing and receiving.
This is the tough part and may require significant going within to discover. Once you have identified those issues, you merely do a BIBO Breathwork session to clear the issues and the related aspects or layers involved, much like you would any other issue.
